Wike, Makinde, and Ikpeazu abstain from the PDP national caucus gathering.

Prior to today's national executive committee (NEC), the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) national caucus met on Wednesday.

The meeting took place in the governor's lodge for Akwa Ibom in Asokoro, Abuja.

The party-affiliated serving and former presidents and vice presidents, major senate and house of representatives officers, and all active state governors make up the national caucus.

Atiku Abubakar, the PDP's presidential candidate, Walid Jibrin, the BoT chairman, Aminu Tambuwal, the governor of Sokoto, Bala Mohammed, the governor of Bauchi, and Douye Diri, the governor of Bayelsa, were all in attendance.
